Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

-from Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

Psychotherapy is a process of aided introspection that is challenging but rewarding. It is unique, and very different from friendship: not only in the strict confidentiality it demands, but in the depth of work it requires. While this work can be difficult at times, discovering how the past and present intertwine can often be the key to unlocking a more satisfying and vibrant future. Many people spend years searching for answers; therapy can streamline this process and help enable individuals to understand and dismantle the obstacles that are preventing the realization of their desires and dreams.
